A growing, co-created community, built for and with our members
Gathered is a co-created community which is evolving as our membership grows and changes. Our facilitators and members work in partnership as equals. As we continue to grow we look to increase the diversity of our community and welcome every parent to build the Gathered network they need around them.
How we Gather matters
It’s not just being in the company of others that builds community, it’s how we come together. Gathered is structured to create an environment where parents feel safe and supported to share with vulnerability & openness, allowing genuine connection to be forged. By coming together regularly and exploring different aspects of our experiences, members have an opportunity to build authentic and meaningful friendships, not just acquaintances.
Founded during lockdown
During the Covid-19 Pandemic, parents were distanced from each other more than ever before, with new parents suffering incredible loneliness & isolation. Gathered started when our founders launched a series of free park walks to bring local parents together safely. When regulations finally changed, it was clear that more than ever, parents needed to be gathered together in a supportive community. So, our walkers headed inside, and Gathered was born.
Growing with our members, and their families
As our member’s life changed, so have our offerings. We added Evening Gatherings as member’s returned to work but wanted to keep gathering, we added consultations and mentoring as they wanted further 1:1 support, we added Mum and Toddler Gatherings as the little ones explored more, and we added Gathered Guys as their partners wanted in on the conversations too!
And we expanded geographically too, as previous members, with a passion for what we were doing, wanted to offer it in their local neighbourhood too.
And where next…
We are really excited for where Gathered can go next. We believe so strongly that this community care should be available to all parents, and if you are passionate about that too, and in what we are offering and feel you would like to be involved, then please do get in touch.
